WindowRanger information
What is WindowRanger?
WindowRanger is a native macOS window manager built around persistent virtual workspaces. It remembers which windows belong together, restores them when switching workspaces, and keeps window management accessible from the keyboard or menu bar.
Each workspace can use a Freeform, Tiled or Accordion layout. WindowRanger also supports configurable shortcuts, multi-display profiles, workspace-aware app rules, a command palette, Quick App Shelf, optional iCloud settings sync, and a bundled CLI.
It is free and open source under the MIT license, with no subscription, account, advertising or analytics. Signed and notarized builds are available from the official website and through Homebrew.
