As an amateur designer i sometimes see a nice text somewhere and i get inspired by the shape, colour ...and font so i need to find that font for my future works. I use several systems : whatthefont, indetifont and whatfontis. What i like about whatfontis is that is able to identify both commercial and free fonts unlike the others. Also has the largest font catalogue so the chances to find the font i need are better.
I sometimes wish their service would be on mobile too but i manage to take a picture and use it from desktop later when i get home. I'd rate whatfontis 4.9 out of 5.
