What is WebMon?
WebMon is a freeware web page update monitoring program - it saves you time and keeps you updated by automatically checking web pages to see if they have changed.
Some of its features include:
Checking an unlimited number of web pages. Scheduling automatic checking at set intervals. Optional pop-up alerts and sounds when updates are found. Running other programs when updates are found. Selecting which part of the web page to check. Update logging. Proxy support, with authentication. Unintrusive tray icon when minimised. Importing IE favorites and Firefox / Netscape bookmarks. Help system - simply press F1 at any time. Simple installation and removal. Freeware, with no advertising or spyware.
The program is no longer updated. Last version, 1.0.12, released in June 2012. Official site no longer exists but app can still be found on download sites. For example https://download.cnet.com/WebMon/3000-2381_4-10111908.html

Simple, effective, versatile and works on all versions of Windows including Win 10. Can detect all changes to web page code/content, even if not visible in browser. Only negative is that it does not work with sites prefixed with https://
