What is Weather Tune?
Weather Tune for iPad brings together a unique fusion of weather data & features, combined with a virtual radio interface. This includes the ability to play & listen to a variety of online radio stations, while you browse the through the variety of weather features on offer.
Using your iPad location abilities, Weather Tune displays your current weather conditions, including:
- General overview
- Current temperature (either in fahrenheit or celsius)
- Current wind speed & direction
- Current humidity level
Other Features include:
- The latest weather and climate news from around the globe.
- The option to listen to a selection of radio streams via the virtual radio player
- Keep up to date with the latest storms with the Storm Watch map feature.
- Preferential settings, enabling you to choose between Fahrenheit or Celsius as your preferred temperature display.
- A unique weather themed digital clock display with an animated cloud background.
Weather Tune acts as the perfect virtual weather station with a twist of musical entertainment!
The app is no longer updated. Last version, 3.0, released in September 2015, can be still downloaded from the Appstore.

Only got this app today, but it's already been used a handful of times. I like to know what the weathers doing, whether it be outside my front door or 2,000 miles away & this weather tune app does everything for me that I need it to. I also like this whole unique radio display - very different, but very good.

I love slightly quirky apps & Weather Tune sits nicely amongst my unique iPad app collection.
I like the overall general function that thus app has to offer, the weather news feature is nicely integrated into the display & allows me to keep up to date with all the latest world news, while listening to some pleasant sounding radio stations & also keeping updated my my own current weather conditions. The almost real metallic appearance works really well & replicates the appearance of a digital radio interface very nicely.
Having used many weather apps over recent years, I was pleasantly surprised with Weather Tune. There's a lot going on in the app's quirky-but-impressive user interface with a nice touch of radio that allows me to browse & check my weather data while listening to the news station or one of the music stations.
Very impressive on a whole, i'd recommend this as a great weather alternative to any iPad user.
