WayTube is a video app for children aged 2 to 13 that uses AI-powered safety scoring to filter YouTube content before a child sees it. Unlike YouTube Kids, which filters at the channel level, WayTube scores every individual video across safety, language quality, and educational value. Parents set a content threshold once on the WayTube website — the app then filters every video automatically in every session. Getting started is free. Download the app, create an account, and your child is watching AI-filtered content in minutes. Default settings are applied automatically — no configuration needed to get started. For families who want full control, the Family subscription unlocks custom age settings, custom safety threshold, multiple child profiles, and the option to enable Shorts and regular YouTube videos. Available free on iPhone and iPad. Android coming soon.
