Comments about Log Monitor as an Alternative to Watch 4 Folder
This is old software (2002) but it is (thus) very small-scale, highly effective and wildly customizable. You can monitor as many folders as you like, locally and on the intranet. It doesn't support monitoring subfolders, which is a minus, but rules can be copied and adjusted swiftly. Runs perfectly on my Win10 64-bit. I have it run a synctoy routine whenever folders on my disk or my server disk change. Instant sync like nothing I've seen before.
