What is Warren VPN?
Warren is a privacy-first VPN operated from Romania, outside the 5, 9 and 14 Eyes agreements.
Instead of an account, the app generates a wallet on your device. Your access key derives from it, and the service never asks for an email or a name. You buy prepaid time (7 EUR per month) by card, Bitcoin Lightning or Monero, from the app or as a voucher code redeemed anonymously.
The tunnel runs over QUIC and is designed to be hard to distinguish from ordinary HTTPS browsing, which helps on networks that throttle or block classic VPN protocols. Exit servers boot from RAM only. Port forwarding (NAT-PMP), multi-hop and DAITA traffic shaping are available. Apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS. The engine and SDKs are open source under AGPL-3.0, the app under GPL-3.0.
