What is WampServer?
WampServer is a Windows web development environment. It allows you to create web applications with Apache, PHP and the MySQL database. It also comes with PHPMyAdmin and SQLite Manager to easily manage your databases.
WampServer installs automatically (installer), and its usage is very intuitive. You will be able to tune your server without even touching the setting files.
WampServer is the only packaged solution that will allow you to reproduce your production server. Once WampServer is installed, you have the possibility to add as many Apache, MySQL and PHP releases as you want.

just the best for windows XAMPP alternative
It does not support node.js and PSQL, and when working in a team, the development environment will be inconsistent, which is a headache.
I can't try it because even tho the website is in English when you click on the download button some pop-up in French appears.
Supports: -All versions of mysql database . -All versions of mariadb database . -All versions of php . -Creating many virtual localhosts "domains"
For me it is useful because you can quickly switch between various PHP versions, without much hassle. Apart from the fact that it sometimes crashes when shutting down the PC (which isn't a big problem though) it is quite an awesome and useful software bundle.
Not so simple. For example, if Apache or Mysql doens't work, you have to use window's services to start it. If you are looking for something simple isn't not the first choice. Too much information, the options even change according you click the left or the rigth button in the tray icon.
Nice and opensource
