    It's not a VR title. The primary function of VRChat is that it is a VR social game. So, whilst VRC does have a "desktop mode". and SL is similar, if not more advanced, in nature to VRC, fundamentally, those seeking out an alternative to VRChat are likely looking for a VR alternative, of which Second Life need not apply.
