What is VolRadar?
VolRadar is a daily options analytics platform built for retail premium sellers — traders running iron condors, credit spreads, cash-secured puts, and the wheel strategy on S&P 500 names.
Every night after US market close, VolRadar ingests end-of-day options data from ORATS, runs it through its models, and ships a pre-market brief. By the time subscribers sit down with coffee, they already know which tickers are worth selling and which to skip.
Core outputs:
- Weather Score: a 0–100 composite of Premium Edge, VIX Regime, Volatility Trend, Earnings Safety, and Term Structure. One number that answers whether today is a good day to sell premium.
- IV Rank: 252-day lookback on 30-day at-the-money implied volatility.
- VRP (Volatility Risk Premium): 30-day implied vol minus 20-day realized vol. A current-regime measure with zero lag.
- Computed strikes: target your delta or target your credit, returns the strikes that hit.
- Earnings-crush history per ticker: historical IV collapse data after announcements.
Coverage: 500+ US stocks and major ETFs. Data: ORATS commercial feed. Updates daily around 6 PM ET.
Free forever tier includes the Weather Score, four calculators, and a basic scanner. Paid tiers add the full scanner, the pre-market brief, computed strikes, and weekly options ideas.
Methodology fully documented at https://volradar.com/methodology — every formula auditable.
VolRadar is operated by SIA FIZVO from Riga, Latvia. Public launch April 8, 2026.
