What is Vocula?

Hold a key, speak, release: the text is pasted at the cursor in any app.

Recognition runs on your Mac with Whisper (about 100 languages) or Parakeet (25 languages, faster). You choose which languages it listens for, so it cannot mistake one for another.

No account, no telemetry, and nothing you dictate leaves the Mac. The only connections are the one-time model download and a daily update check that can be switched off. GPL-3.0 source.
