VocalCode information
What is VocalCode?
VocalCode is a push-to-talk voice input app for Windows 10/11 and Apple Silicon Macs. Hold a key, speak, release: punctuated text is typed into whatever application has focus; a second key sends the text to an AI coding agent such as Claude Code or Cursor. Speech recognition runs entirely on the local machine (CPU-only), with no account and no cloud processing. Supports English, Chinese (including mixed English-Chinese sentences), Korean, Japanese and 24 European languages, plus a customizable dictionary that corrects technical vocabulary (saying "m c p" types MCP). One-time purchase per device, with a 30-day full-featured free trial.
