What is VisualDrive Server?

VisualDrive Server is a self-hosted server for Microsoft OneDrive that allows users to sync, share and manage file versions.

Unlike other self-hosted solutions that require custom sync apps, VisualDrive Server is fully compatible with the standard built-in Microsoft OneDrive client, supporting all advanced features like Known Folder Move, Open in App, and Drive Automount.

With VisualDrive Server, your data always stays on-premises. Users get local network performance and SSO authentication with current Windows credentials. The server seamlessly integrates into the Windows ecosystem, offering central administration using Group Policies, Active Directory users and group management, always-on VSS backup, HTTPS certificate enrollment and native Event Logging.
