Visual Timer for Kids is a countdown timer for young children who cannot read a clock yet. Instead of numbers, the child watches a picture that is slowly revealed while the timer runs. When the whole picture is visible, time is up.
It is made for parents, teachers and therapists who need a calm way to show what "5 more minutes" means. Families use it for homework, tidying up, brushing teeth, screen time limits, getting dressed and quiet play. The visual progress, the gentle music and the clear ending are especially helpful for younger children and for kids with ADHD.
You choose a picture, a background, the music and the sound that plays at the end. The timer keeps running in the background and sends a notification when the time is over. It works offline, it is available in 22 languages and it supports Family Sharing.
The app is free to download. The free version includes 2 pictures, 2 backgrounds, 2 music themes and 2 alarm sounds. Premium is a subscription and adds more than 200 pictures, 27 backgrounds, more than 20 music themes, more than 10 alarm sounds, your own photos from the library and a dice that picks a random picture.
There are no ads and no analytics or tracking tools inside the app. A parental gate sits in front of the settings and every purchase, and a child mode keeps the timer screen simple for the child.
