What is Visual Sentinel?

Visual Sentinel is a hosted website monitoring platform built to catch failures that basic uptime tools miss. It combines 6-layer monitoring across uptime, performance, SSL, DNS, visual changes, and content changes, so teams can detect broken layouts, expired certificates, DNS issues, slowdowns, and unexpected page changes from one dashboard. Unlike traditional uptime monitors that only check whether a server responds, Visual Sentinel renders pages in a real browser, captures screenshots, compares them pixel by pixel, and alerts you when something looks wrong even if the page still returns HTTP 200 OK. It is designed for WordPress sites, eCommerce stores, SaaS apps, APIs, and agencies managing multiple client properties. The service also supports API, endpoint, synthetic, and server monitoring, along with alert delivery through email, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, webhooks, Prometheus, and browser push notifications. Setup is external, so users can start monitoring by pasting a URL without installing code, agents, or browser extensions.
