VibePause pauses your music the moment a VALORANT round starts and brings it back when you die, buy, or return to the lobby, so you never have to dive for the volume mixer mid-game. It runs quietly in the Windows system tray.
Each game event (game start, combat, buy phase, elimination, match end, lobby, character select, revival) can be set to Play, Pause or None. Volume mode lets you give each event its own volume from 0% to 100% instead, so the music keeps playing at a lower level. A now-playing card shows the current track with Previous, Play/Pause and Next controls.
It works with music and video apps that support Windows media controls, including Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music and browser players. The interface is available in 15 languages (machine-translated).
VibePause is a separate companion app. It does not inject into VALORANT, read game memory, modify game files, send gameplay input or draw an overlay. It reads a local log file, uses Windows' built-in OCR to detect eliminations (processed in memory and never saved or sent), and controls Windows media playback. It is free, open source and needs no account or administrator rights. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games.
