What is Vector Boy?

Vector Boy is a browser tool that converts raster images into real vector paths - photos, scans, logos, drawings and handwriting.

What sets it apart from most vectorizers: image analysis, black-and-white separation and tracing all run locally in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to a server for processing. That matters for unreleased logos, client drafts, tattoo designs and personal handwriting.

You control black level, contrast and brightness, compare original, result and vector side by side, remove noise with a lasso and smooth visible pixel stair-stepping. Export as SVG, PDF, EPS, DXF, or as a cleaned-up PNG with transparency. Counters (the holes in letters like A, O or P) stay as true cut-outs inside the path, so there are no extra white objects to break a plotter, laser or print job.

Common uses: vectorize a logo, convert PNG to SVG, digitize hand drawings, build plotter files, tattoo stencils, embroidery templates, laser engraving files, screen-printing separations, stamp artwork and stencils.
