V8.Net Alternatives

    V8.Net is described as 'A fairly non-abstracted wrapper for Google's V8 JavaScript engine. It's similar to NodeJS, but allows integrating the .net/mono framework into the JavaScript global environment'. There are three alternatives to V8.Net for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Mac, Self-Hosted solutions, Windows and Online / Web-based. The best alternative is Node.js, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like V8.Net are Nashorn (Free, Open Source) and NoPrint.js (Free, Open Source).
