What is USB Network Gate?
With USB Network Gate you'll never face any problems accessing and managing the USB devices plugged into remote computers. On the contrary, with the help of this program you can work with those devices as if they were physically connected to your local computer. All needed to achieve that is install Network USB Gate on the computer with physically connected USB device (server machine) and on the computer where you will use that device (client machine). USB Network Gate will take care of the rest. No need to obtain additional hardware at all! BTW you can choose whether Mac, Linux or Windows machine will be a client or a server.
Not only this USB over network program allows accessing remote USB devices, but it can be also used in servers and workstations virtualization. I.e. it will give you the possibility to access and use USB devices connected to local machine in a virtual session. Thanks to USB Network Gate you can work with USB devices on operating systems of such virtual machines as Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware ESX, Citrix XenDesktop, Windows Virtual PC, etc. USB Network Gate allows integrating its useful functionality into your own software (OEM licensing).

USB Network Gate is a fast way to run remote diagnostics of USB devices.
Moreover, there is the option for Remote iPhone Sync and Android Remote Access using our USB accessing solution. For my work, this is a very necessary function.
What a great app! This app makes my life(network administrator) so much easier. Couldn't be more happy about this app. Well done!
I use it for everyday purposes. I share usb storage over the network even from another country.
What I really liked the most is the ability to work in virtual environment. I need to share my devices via VMware and had searched for the tool to do this for me. I got used to this software really quickly and had no problems while installation and settings configuration. It is the software not for home usage, this is the tool for everyday usage in professional life. We got the license for the office and share our USB devices, including drives, over the network, access them from all over the world. If you find a better one, you may try it. But I really like this software.

Well, it is not a "mode" it is just a feature - software works in virtual environment, too. That's it. )

Yeah, you are right, of course.

We use the software for the remote USB sharing over the world. We have an office out of the country and may share the USB drive over two offices. The software is compatible with Mac,Win and Linux. Really very simplifies our everyday work!
That's exactly what I was going to say.

Who had used the software? Is it useful for a big office or doesn't have any sense? Any alternatives? Maybe with lower price..
Price is always all over that for such apps. I had used USB Network Gate with my foreign office. It is really works! If you are a corporate client (company) this price is not too high. I may say that both quality and stability supports high level. You may just look through its competitors: some doesn't support the virtual machines, the next - doesn't work on different platforms…. Here you may find Win, Linux and Mac version. Don't remember about Android.
