UltraExplorer is an open source Windows file manager designed for navigating deeply nested folders on an infinite 2D canvas instead of traditional 1D lists.

Folders are displayed as nested cells: opening a folder means flying directly into it, keeping the entire drive layout visible as a coherent spatial map. To handle hundreds of thousands of files without stuttering, the canvas uses a gamedev-style rendering pipeline built on Direct3D 11 with GPU instancing, SDF pixel shaders, and 120 Hz frame budgets.
