Uber charges the store fees as well as you. So for example, a $15 order of chicken wings will generally be on the app for around $20, because the store doesn't want to lose money.
After you pay fees and a tip (in America), that $15 order of chicken wings if you bought in the store now comes to $30-35.
That's with $1 delivery fee, tax, $4 tip, and "other fees," whatever that means.
You are literally paying 2x the price to have it delivered. And they are often late, so whatever you get will be lukewarm or soggy.
Worst food ordering service ever. The people behind this service are real crooks. I've deleted my account, and I won't order anything on this platform ever again.
