What is TV Box Tools?

TV Box Tools sets any launcher (Projectivy, AT4K, Monet, Arc, FLauncher and others) as the real HOME app on Android TV and Google TV boxes. It writes the same setting as Settings › Default apps › Home over ADB, so the launcher survives reboots, cleaner apps and force-stops without an accessibility service having to stay alive.

It is made for people who have never used ADB: it walks you through Developer options, finds the box on your Wi-Fi, pairs with it and does the rest with one press. It runs on the TV itself, on a phone, on Windows, macOS and Linux, or in a browser, and an AI assistant can run it for you through its MCP server.

It can also install an APK from a URL or a Downloader short code, check the box (model, Android version, HOME app, free space) and restore the stock launcher with one press. Free and open source (Apache-2.0), no ads, no account.
