A list with 83 apps by seb720p without a description.
phant's software list
my software list, mostly open-source.I have used the vast majority of the software listed there myself for a long time.
This software list open-source/free/freemium apps for Windows 10/11 that I would recommend. This also includes tools for CS/EE background developer.
This list is designed to highlight excellent software in a particular area, so you don’t need to install all the software on the list. You should only consider installing the software I’ve selected when you have a need that falls under a specific section of the list.

Great app. Very reliable, and allows for a beautiful desktop.
I used to use TaskbarX, but had constant display and redrawing issues so looked around and discovered TranlucentTB and never had these types of problems anymore.
I love how reliable TranslucentTB is and how functional it is with so many options.
I especially appreciate TranslucentTB after Windows 10 20H2 update killed off the HighContrast extra transparency option, meaning aero blur is even weaker now and on one of my computers that used to have aero transparency stopped being able to do it entirely after getting 20H2. TranslucentTB fixed both issues.
I love the app and can't believe it's free (and opensource!).
Has some stability issues, but it's such a massive upgrade that it's truly insane windows never replicated it natively
No frills, just a lightweight app that does what it says.
Simple & effective
