What is TransGem?
TransGem is an offline translation app for Android devices, designed for reliable translations without internet. It works well during travel or in areas with poor network connectivity, processing translations on your device to keep data confidential.
The app uses the Gemma 4 AI model to translate 86 languages without internet. The translation process is entirely internal, with no data sent externally. TransGem offers Text, Audio, and Photo translation modes. Users can input text, record voice for instant translation and playback, or translate text from images.
TransGem prioritizes privacy, transmitting no data from your device. It uses Gemma 4 E2B architecture with NPU acceleration on Snapdragon SM8450+ and GPU/OpenCL 2.0 for fast on-device AI performance. It also has a text-to-speech function with auto-play, and the app interface is available in 30 languages.
