What is TrackRescue?
TrackRescue is a web-based service for monitoring and recovering YouTube playlists. It creates metadata snapshots of playlists selected by the user and checks them on demand or on a schedule for unavailable, hidden, private, unlisted, region-restricted, duplicate, or reordered entries.
When an entry needs attention, TrackRescue preserves its playlist position and available metadata, groups the finding by type, and lets the user review replacement candidates before changing the playlist. Manual repairs require confirmation. Eligible plans can use explicit auto-repair rules, while at-risk entries remain review-only. Repair history, exports, version snapshots, playlist copy and restore tools, and undo evidence help users keep a traceable record of changes.
A Chrome extension provides current-playlist status, scans, repair review, and confirmations in Chrome's side panel. TrackRescue uses YouTube metadata and does not download or host YouTube audio or video.
