Tiny Books is a desktop press for miniature books.
Give it a cover image, and it composes a complete tiny book: the front cover, a spine color-matched to the art, and a coordinating back cover, laid out flat as a single wrap you print, cut and fold. Arrange a whole page of them, print at home, and build a shelf.
FIVE SIZES, EACH SIZED TO SOMETHING REAL
Miniature (1 1/2 inch) is the default. It is a true miniature by the Miniature Book Society's three-inch rule, and a close fit for fashion-doll scale.
One-inch scale (1:12) is the commonest dollhouse scale. It is sized to the filler books actually sold for 1:12 rather than to a mathematical reduction, so your books stand level with the ones already on the shelf.
Half-inch scale (1:24) prints a run of spines up to seven inches long: one shelf tier of a book nook in a single strip. No spine titles at this size: the spine is under a tenth of an inch and no type survives there, so the press prints none rather than printing ink nobody can read.
64mo renders the bibliographic format at its own conventional 2 x 3 inch size, rather than shrinking your book to fit.
Faux spine prints one spine at real size, 9 1/4 inches, to stand on a real shelf. That is the case height of a hardcover, not the trim height, because boards overhang the pages by an eighth of an inch at head and tail.
WHAT ELSE IT DOES
Paste a cover URL or upload your own image. Set the title and author, and the press sets the type. Add filler pages for the sizes that have an interior. Lay out a full sheet at Letter or A4 and print, or export a PDF.
NOTHING LEAVES YOUR COMPUTER
No account. No subscription. No telemetry, no analytics, no tracking of any kind. Your library is a file on your own disk. One purchase, and every update after it.
If the field strips blank lines or has a short limit, use the press kit's single paragraph instead:
Tiny Books is a desktop press that turns a cover image into a complete printable miniature book: front cover, color-matched spine, and back cover, laid out flat as one wrap you print, cut and fold. It prints at five true scales, each fitted to something real rather than to a round number: a 1 1/2 inch miniature, 1:12 dollhouse books sized to the filler books actually sold for that scale, 1:24 book-nook shelf strips up to seven inches long, the 64mo bibliographic format at its own conventional size, and full-size faux spines at true 9 1/4 inch case height. It runs entirely on your own computer, with no account, no cloud and no telemetry.
