What is ThunderPhone?
ThunderPhone is a self-serve platform for building AI phone agents. Users create an agent from a prompt or template, connect a phone number, and the agent answers or places calls.
The platform includes AI-caller simulations and regression suites for testing agents before deployment, live call monitoring with the ability to steer calls in progress, and automatic detection of issues with proposed fixes. It supports 47 languages with mid-conversation language switching, and offers an API and MCP support for integrations.
Accuracy is the main design goal: the stack is built to avoid mishearing callers on names, addresses, spellings, noisy lines and unfamiliar accents. The Storm tier, with its extra-intelligence option, scores 99.4% on the Big Bench Audio benchmark, and the evaluation set is published publicly on Hugging Face.
Pricing is usage-based, starting at $0.02 per minute with language models included. HIPAA and GDPR compliant. A live demo agent is available on the homepage without an account.
