What is Tenta - Private Browser?
Tenta takes a zero-knowledge approach to the browser business. That means your bookmarks, saved tabs, web history, downloaded files, IP address and DNS - it's all protected and encrypted by default with built-in OpenVPN and secure DNS support. No registration, credit card or complex setup ever required. Just enter your secure pin or scan your fingerprint (on supporting devices) and start browsing.
We take your privacy seriously, so we also do not store your password on any servers.
Tenta offers several unique innovations in making private browsing convenient:
-
Organize your tabs by Zones, allowing groups of tabs to have custom VPN location, DNS and data settings.
-
Smart Incognito™ protects ALL of your browsing data with built-in OpenVPN™ and 256bit encryption.
-
Safer browsing by default. Tenta Secure DNS is built into the browser for hassle free secure browsing. Also allows custom DNS and supports decentralized domains such as .bit domains (.bit domains uses Bitcoin technology to decentralize and free website addresses).

Allows you to spoof your geographic location so you can convince websites you are in any number of geographic locations which is handy when you want to get around geolocation blocks and, say, access BBC iplayer in Cambodia or download a YouTube video with ytmp3.cc that is blocked in the UK but allowed in Tiwan for example. The best bit is the per app applying of the von which means that for Netflix, which can get funny if you use a von, you can turn it off. It's also very fast (paid for version) and I am limited by my internet speed, not tenta, even tormenting. Only criticism would be large number of US based servers, would like to see more servers in locations like Iceland and Greenland where expensive AC isn't necessary to cool servers.
