Tab Cemetery information
What is Tab Cemetery?
Tab Cemetery is a Chrome extension that auto-closes inactive tabs and buries them in a fully designed gothic graveyard — not a list, not a dashboard, a graveyard.
Every dead tab gets one of 12 hand-crafted tombstone designs with a personalized epitaph. Reddit tabs get "Lost in the infinite scroll." YouTube tabs get "Buffering for eternity." Amazon tabs get "The cart was abandoned. The wallet was saved." There are 150+ unique epitaphs across 30+ domains, plus generic ones like "Dust to dust, tab to trash" and "Born to browse. Died in vain."
The Reaper watches your tabs. Set the timer — 3 days ("No Mercy"), 7 days ("One Week Memorial"), 9 days ("The Ninth"), 40 days ("The Fortieth"), or any custom number ("Your Ritual"). Tabs left untouched get reaped.
When a tab dies, a death bell rings. A notification appears. The graveyard grows.
Features: — 12 unique tombstone designs — 150+ domain-specific epitaphs (Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, GitHub, Amazon, Netflix, ChatGPT, and more) — Achievements: First Blood, Serial Killer, Mass Grave, Necromancer, Loyal Friend, Reddit Slayer — Stats: souls collected, kill rate per day, streaks, most haunted domains, oldest grave — Resurrect any tab with one click, or mass resurrect everything — "Immortals" list — protect domains that should never die — Death Bell sound notification — Search, sort, and filter your graveyard — Fog effects, gothic fonts, animated candles, dark atmospheric UI — Danger Zone: Purge the Graveyard or Reset Everything
100% free. No account. No tracking. All data stays on your device.
The philosophy: if you haven't opened a tab in days, you don't need it. Let it go. Let the Reaper decide.
