What is Szum?

Szum is a chart creation platform for producing publication-ready data visualizations across websites, static images, email, Figma and AI tools.

Charts are defined using a concise JSON configuration and can be created visually in the web editor or generated programmatically through the Chart Image API and TypeScript SDK. The same chart definition can be reused as a PNG or SVG image, an interactive web embed, a Figma graphic or a chart generated by an AI agent through the MCP server.

szum includes curated editorial themes, responsive sizing, accessible defaults, persistent chart URLs and server-side rendering. It is designed for developers, designers and product teams that need visually consistent charts across multiple surfaces without maintaining separate chart implementations.

A free plan includes saved charts, interactive embeds and 5,000 renders per month. The Pro plan adds custom themes, Google Fonts, higher rendering limits and removal of szum branding.
