What is Synthesizer V?
Introducing Synthesizer V, the Revolutionary Singing Synthesizer
We aim to create a tool that ultimately leads to the artistic perfection of artificial voices, and the passion has been put into a 7-year quest for the scientific modeling of singing voice at the highest calibre. Synthesizer V, coming straight from the laboratory, is the outcome at the fifth iteration of this research project.
Based on a hybrid of artificial neural networks and concatenative synthesis, Synthesizer V delivers natural voice from a small amount of sampled data. Our patent-pending Low Level Speech Model (LLSM) separately processes vocal folds and vocal tract features, thereby allowing for high-fidelity and flexible manipulation of voice timbre.

Said about Synthesizer V as an alternative
It is the same thing but there are no japanese voicebanks
it produces very nice English Vocals, it has a bit of a learning curve. It is better if you want English vocals but as of November 2, 2018 there aren't any Japanese vocals or any other languages.
It has at least one Japanese, but it costs money once you're done evaluating

- lobi reviewed Synthesizer VloThe integrated editor is realy good. Also the sound quality is much better than in free products like alterego. But the program is not stable at all. I had five crashes in the first 6 hours of testing it out and you will loose edited data on such crashes. The product costs about 80$ and I think you can expect much mor stability for such price.
Theoteno added Synthesizer V as alternative(s) to OpenUTAU
- OxygenDioxide added Microsoft X Studio as an alternative to Synthesizer VOx
Excellent product! Got the free version yesterday and was using it right away. Eleanor Forte is a great English voice, especially in the higher registers (around C5 or so).
