Alternatives to Synthesia for all platforms with any license

  • Piano From Above

Piano From Above (PianoFromAbove.exe). Piano From Above is a program that turns learning the piano into a videogame. You can open any MIDI file and simply play the notes as they fall. In the practice mode you can set the speed of playback, the position of playback, which tracks are shown and which tracks are muted.

    • It is very versatile and is easy to use. Unlike synthesia you can sort songs easily and find them in a large list. The keyboard can be set to show 128 keys which synthesia does not let you do. The only complaint would be that you can change the speed of a song but it won't stay that way. Guest • Apr 2020 • 1 agrees and 0 disagrees Disagree   Agree
