What is Shopify Sync Engine: Orders Module?

What It Does: With a double click, the application fetches your raw Shopify data and organizes it into two (02) clean, structured Google Sheets tabs. It replaces hours of manual CSV exporting and formatting. The application clears and rewrites these "Raw" tabs on each run.

Tab 1: Orders General

  • What: Order level financial data for reconciliation.
  • Key Fields: Order ID, Date, Customer Name, Email, Status, Fulfillment, Total Items, Currency, Subtotal, Shipping Total, Tax Total, Disc. Total, Grand Total, PGW, Tags and Source.
  • Purpose: Bank reconciliation and financial overview.

Tab 2: Items Sold

  • What: Detailed breakdown of every item sold.
  • Key Fields: Order ID, Date, Product Variant, SKU, Quantity, Unit Price, Disc. Name, Item Disc., Line Total, Currency, Item Status and Fulfillment.
  • Purpose: SKU level performance analysis.

Technical Advantages & Architecture

Privacy First Architecture

  • Data Flow: Shopify --> Your Computer --> Your Google Sheets.
  • No Intermediate Servers: Your data never touches my infrastructure. I never see or store your Shopify data.
  • Local Execution: Runs entirely on your local computer.
  • Read-Only Access: I only request Shopify API permissions needed for data fetching.
  • Encrypted Credentials: Your API keys stay encrypted on your machine.

Performance & Reliability

  • Handles Large Volumes: Efficient pagination for stores with thousands of historical orders.
  • Anti Throttling Logic: Manages Shopify API rate limits intelligently.
  • Localized Formatting: Automatic date/currency formatting for AU/UK/US.
  • Simple Operation: Double click to run; automatic closure when complete.
