It has been my go to software for malware since around 2001. It seems to do it's job for Windows PCs
Edit: As of 2025, I am not enjoying the software. The most recent updates adding adverts for purchasing it are very annoying, and last night's run warned me about fixing my registry, which is not what the software was about. I think now it's time for it to be uninstalled.
Avoid it, it's more like the malware it supposedly removes.
SAS Security Certificate has lapsed ... not a good look for a security company
superantispyware.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 19-08-17 4:35 AM. The current time is 21-08-17 12:23 PM. (Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)

because in hope of doing so, I might be able to download the software.
My wife had extremely infected computers and this tool did little to improve the situation. It found some of the malware but was not successful in restoring the system to a working state. Honestly, I'm not sure any of these tools could. I also ran Spybot and it found several other pieces of malware but it too was not able to get the system back to fully operational. But it does have some nice features that SuperAntiSpyware doesn't, like Immunization. Will probably switch to that.
It is one of the best Anti-Spyware programs in the Internet. The only complaint is the terrible speed of scanning near the beginning when it scans my registry.
I have Malwarebytes, Counterspy and SUPERAntiSpyware installed on my computer. The latter is not only the lightest and fastest, but also the one that most often catches any malware that installs itself on my PC.
