Submerse

Submerse is a bookmarking and research tool for saving links, images, PDFs, and notes through its website, Chrome extension, or command-line interface. It can automatically add titles, summaries, descriptions, and labels to saved items, with these AI features optional. Search indexes titles, notes, summaries, and text in screenshots, showing results as text is entered. For most articles, it stores a readable copy of the page text if the original changes or becomes unavailable.

Saved items can be organized into pools and included in multiple pools. Pools can be private, shared, or published as public pages. Submerse imports bookmarks from browsers, CSV files, and Are.na, and exports collections to Are.na or spreadsheets. It includes seven themes, including a dark theme.
