What is Statmate?

Statmate is a chess analytics and game review tool built for players on Chess.com and Lichess. Game Review is fully free, powered by Stockfish 18 Lite in the browser, with move classifications, blunder flagging, and opening identification included at no cost. The classifier also adds two stricter tiers above "Brilliant," Spectacular and Legendary, built to catch genuinely rare, high quality moves rather than the loosely defined brilliancy bar used elsewhere.

Beyond Game Review, Statmate offers cross game analytics: session tilt detection, time of day win rate, rolling accuracy trends, a rivals system, a geography map of opponents, shareable "Wrapped" style summary cards, and cross platform player comparison with ELO correction between Chess.com and Lichess ratings.

Premium (£4.99/month or £44.99/year) unlocks the full Stockfish 18 engine, unlimited AI narrated game reviews, an AI coach, a leak detector, a brilliants log, full opening recommendations, and unlimited Two Game Quality Compare, which grades two games' quality against each other adjusted for position difficulty.
