Stairway2Fast is a browser-based practice tool built around the record rather than the playback.
You mark the passage you are working on — in a YouTube video, or in your own video or audio file — slow it to a speed you can play, and it logs the minutes spent on that specific section at each speed. The week a hard bar goes from 0.7x to full speed becomes a chart you can look at rather than something you have to remember, and every song keeps its own speed history.
Saved loops come back with their speeds next time you open the song. A spaced-review mode brings older passages round again. There is a metronome, and a Quick Jam panel that plays a backing band over a chord progression you choose.
The useful core is permanently free, not a trial: looping and slowing down with the pitch intact, saved loops, the practice record, spaced review, and Quick Jam. You can start as a guest with no account at all; a free account keeps progress across devices. Pro adds deeper insights, cloud storage for files you upload, and AI stem separation for isolating or muting a single instrument.
There are no leaderboards. A practice record is measured against that player's own past.
