Fast, simple and works perfectly on Windows 10 even though the last update was in 2013.
Was looking for a way to do add a "toolbar" in Windows 11 as I did back in Windows 8, 10. This was able to do it, just have to change Step 4 under the "How to use it" on the Github, instead of dragging it to the taskbar, you have to right click it, "Show more options", find "Pin to taskbar". From there you can customize it more if you want, rename it, change the icon by right clicking it, right clicking the shortcut again under the sub menu, and going to Properties. Hope this helps!
Edit: Feb. 2023, reinstalled Windows 11, I had a backup of the zip but now it's asking for a MSVCP120.dll/MSVCR120.dll instead of the MSVCP110.dll/MSVCR110.dll that it has. From a quick Google: "msvcp120.dll is a part of Microsoft Visual C++ and is often required for running programs developed with Visual C++." So if you still feel like running it and see these errors, a DLL search might be a quick fix. I'm switching to menuApp for now.
you'll find an updated Fork
I had been using 7Stacks. However, when accessing my remote work computer using RemoteDesktop, I found that 7Stacks stopped working reliably. I tried Stacky, and it worked perfectly on the remote computer accessed via RemoteDesktop. Stacky is extremely fast and thus far has been completely reliable. I would have given it 5 stars, but I deducted a point for not having some of the settings that are available in 7Stacks.
