What is Square Sketch?
Square Sketch recreates drawing and writing on graph paper. Instead of a pen, a mouse and keyboard are used, creating precise vector graphics that can be edited flexibly.
By eliminating tool, option and shape palettes, the interface is tidy and ideal for distraction-free creative work.
The operation also benefits from the reduced interface, making Square Sketch easy to learn and use.
The conscious limitation of the design options helps you concentrate on the essentials. Two colors, two stroke widths and one font size are available.
Features:
- Mouse gestures: allow you to draw lines, circles and points directly without changing tools.
- Text creation: as easy as in a text editor, just click with the mouse on the desired place and start writing.
- Immersion: through optional full-screen mode, hideable usage aids and auditive feedback.
- Built-in tutorial: explains the operation step by step and takes about 20 minutes.
- Export function: allows saving as SVG or PNG file.
- Print function: can also be used to create a PDF via the operating system.
