What is Square Photo Padder?

Square Photo Padder turns JPEG, PNG and WebP images into square JPEG copies. Choose the output size and background color, preview a photo, rotate it when needed, and save one image or a batch. Optional text watermarking is available.

Photos are processed locally without uploads or an online account. With Overwrite disabled, the app creates numbered JPEG copies beside the originals. It does not upscale images; JPEG output does not preserve transparency or create a lossless copy.

Every feature is free, with no subscriptions or paid feature tiers. Optional donations support development. Windows x64 portable ZIP and Linux x64 AppImage packages are available. Windows packages are unsigned; Linux needs a compatible graphical desktop and system libraries.
