    Spring Engine is described as 'Spring is a versatile 3D RTS game engine. Using extensively Lua for scripting game-specific code to make nearly every aspect of the engine customizable, from GUI, to unit AI, to pathfinding'. There are six games similar to Spring Engine for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, Online / Web-based and Android. The best alternative is PlayCanvas, which is free. Other Spring Engine like games are Flare (game) (Free, Open Source), Erebus (Free, Open Source), Lips of Suna (Free, Open Source) and Eclipse Origins (Free, Open Source).
