SPITE is a free, open-source node canvas for AI filmmaking. Lay out an entire production - characters, scenes, shots and models - on one infinite canvas, wire the nodes together, and generate images and video with your own API keys.

Because you connect your own fal.ai key, you pay model providers directly at their price: no subscription, no credits, no markup. Scenes and shots are first-class - tag a node as Shot 1 and it lands in a scene strip, so a whole multi-shot production stays organised.

Tag images into Character, Prop or Location folders and @mention them in any prompt to keep characters consistent across generations. Every output files into a searchable asset library and exports as a structured storyboard zip, one folder per scene.

Self-hostable and AGPL-3.0 licensed: your keys, your storage, your database. Nothing routes through anyone else's servers.
