What is Sourcer's Desk?

Sourcer's Desk is a free Chrome extension built by a recruiter with 20 years on the desk. Type plain words — a job title, a skill, a city — and it writes the boolean x-ray search a veteran sourcer would have built by hand, including the phone area codes that catch candidates whose resume names a suburb instead of the metro. Capture candidates from the results page into client-organized projects, and look up companies' real published email formats instead of guessing addresses.

It runs entirely in the browser, so it works on a Chromebook or any locked-down machine where you cannot install software. Your data stays in your browser's own storage — no account, no cloud, nothing sold. And it never touches LinkedIn: no login, no automation, no scraping. The extension is not even loaded on LinkedIn pages, and the browser enforces that, so it cannot put your account at risk.

Key features:

• Plain-English search builder — type words, get expert boolean x-ray searches • Phone area-code location intelligence for 46 US metros • Prebuilt intelligence for all LinkedIn location specific formatting. Converts "Chicago" to "Chicago, Illinois, United States", so you can be sure to find only candidates that live or worked in that location on LinkedIn. • One-click candidate capture into client-organized projects • Obtain the real, published company email formats so your emails to candidates are likely to go through — never guessed or fabricated • ATS-ready CSV export and JSON backups • Runs entirely in the browser — works on a Chromebook • Never touches your LinkedIn account • Free, with no account required
