SoloDesks is a job scheduling, invoicing, and quoting tool designed for solo tradespeople such as plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers, and more. It allows users to create itemised quotes on their phones while on the job and send them as professional PDFs with their own logo. Accepted quotes can be converted into invoices with a single tap, eliminating the need for retyping.
The Overdue Autopilot feature automatically sends reminder emails to clients when an invoice is overdue. It sends a friendly reminder at 7 days, a firmer one at 14, and a final notice at 21. All reminders are sent under your business name and stop once the invoice is marked as paid.
SoloDesks also includes a calendar for job scheduling, reminders for important dates like insurance renewals, and the ability to attach before and after photos to invoices. It is built around UK trade rules but can be used anywhere, with proper handling of VAT and CIS for UK users. The site also offers nine free tools, including calculators for various financial aspects and an invoice generator.
The free plan includes 10 quotes, 10 invoices, and 10 emailed PDFs a month, with unlimited clients and jobs. The Pro plan, at £12 a month, offers unlimited quotes and invoices, Overdue Autopilot, pay-now links, and your own branding.
