Sodium information
What is Sodium?
Sodium is a free and open-source rendering engine replacement for the Minecraft client that greatly improves frame rates, reduces micro-stutter, and fixes graphical issues in Minecraft. It boasts wide compatibility with the Fabric mod ecosystem when compared to other mods and doesn't compromise on how the game looks, giving you that authentic block game feel.
Said about Sodium as an alternative
Much better boost than optifine.
Sodium required fabric API and not support optifine shaderpacks but incrase your FPS dramaticly, reduce micro-stutter, minecraft chunks load very fast.
(Not: Fabric API is modular and lightweight alternative to minecraft forge)
Sodium is objectively the best FPS boosting mod out there. From experience, it triples my FPS, and it is said to tenfold on some devices. It does not have shader support however you can use IRIS for that which is just shader supporting Sodium at its basic.
Comments and Reviews
Compared to Optifine, it does not give any FPS boost
This is simply not true.
