Nice UI! Technically well-made software that in many ways surpasses Mastodon and Pleroma. Unfortunately, this is where the pluses end. Soapbox uses only a few instances, but the biggest disappointment is what these instances are. One of them is Poa.st a nazi instance which is even worse than Gab. I wish I could like it, but I can't.
In this case, you have to hate wordpress. Tens of thousands of bad sites have been made on it. And hate react, since soapbox is built on it
@volanar I understand your statement. A hammer can build a house or split someone's skull. But soapbox itself is the intended product. For myself, the question is, would i prefer handing my information to my sister who is using that hammer to build some shelves for her stuff, or to a "nazi" who might decide that the dress i'm wearing makes me look "fat"? Who will you trust with your information?
