What is SnmpLens?

SnmpLens is an open-source SNMP MIB browser for Windows, macOS and Linux, in a single native binary with no runtime, no agent and no account.

It walks and sets OIDs over SNMPv1, v2c and v3, and renders conceptual tables as real tables by splitting the INDEX according to the MIB rather than showing a raw sub-OID. It receives traps and acknowledged INFORMs, charts polled OIDs over time with the history kept locally, and routes alerts to syslog over UDP, TCP or TLS, to a webhook, or to email.

It also includes a MIB editor whose diagnostics name the line and the missing import, rather than reporting "could not load module" — which is what most tools give you when a vendor MIB fails.

An open-source alternative to iReasoning MIB Browser, ManageEngine MibBrowser and Paessler SNMP Tester. MIT licensed.
