SleepStop

Fall asleep to an audiobook or a podcast and you usually wake up an hour further on, with the part you missed somewhere behind you. A sleep timer only guesses when you'll drift off. SleepStop waits until you actually have.

How it works

• With a compatible Garmin watch, SleepStop uses the heart rate and movement your watch measures to detect when you have really fallen asleep. Then it stops the audio and winds it back to the last part you heard.
• Without a watch, it stops when the phone has been lying still with the screen off, or after a time you set.
• It works with any audio app: music, video, podcast and audiobook apps. In watch mode it is always on, so you don't start anything at night.
• If it ever stops too early, one tap on the notification resumes where it cut off.

Pricing: the phone-only mode is free. Watch mode is a subscription with a 14-day free trial; the watch app itself is free in the Connect IQ Store.
