SlapMac information
What is SlapMac?
SlapMac is an application that turns your MacBook's accelerometer into a sound generator. By slapping, tapping, or shaking your MacBook, you can trigger various comical sound effects. The application operates from the menu bar, adjusting its volume based on the force applied to your MacBook. It features a cooldown timer to prevent overloading and a USB device plug-in/out sound effect.
SlapMac also has an anti-theft mode which activates when the screen is locked. It can detect motion, trigger a siren, and capture a photo of the person moving your MacBook. The photos are saved to a specific folder and can be synced to iCloud Drive. The mode can be disarmed with your Touch ID or password. The software also includes a slap counter and launches at login.
