Skiff was bought by Notion in February 2024. “As we begin to shift focus to our shared efforts with Notion, we will be closing down Skiff's product suite after a 6-month sunset period. […] For the next 6 months, Skiff services will continue to operate without disruption, and users can freely duplicate, migrate, or export data. You can now also set up a forwarding address to redirect mail to any other provider.”

I've been using Skiff Mail for a while now and I am extremely impressed with the level of security and privacy it provides. The end-to-end encryption ensures that my messages are only accessible by me and the intended recipient. I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with knowing my emails are protected from prying eyes. Highly recommend giving Skiff Mail a try!
Shady as hell. They host their service in the USA, and I went on Reddit and suggested they should move their servers to Switzerland for the superior privacy laws in that country.
They proceed to tell me the US has better privacy laws (which is obviously a lie), cite some weird stuff about Germany having backdoor laws and Switzerland having laws forcing IP addresses to be stored, and when another user asks for a source they delete my thread.

As of 10 February 2024 Skiff has announced they are joining Notion and the current service will close. Announcement via email and on Skiff homepage.

So many awesome feature for free E2E encrypted email 10 Gb storage 3 alias Custom domain!! I just discovered this email provider and am blown away. This is a serious alternative to Protonmail
Skiff Mail provides a very generous free tier giving 10GB free storage and 3 extra aliases. Quick to roll out features and app/web UI is an eye-candy.
